Introduction to our club
Founded in 2000 with support from EU funding, Armitage with Handsacre Crown Green Bowls Club was established to serve and benefit the local community. Situated in the village of Armitage in Staffordshire, our crown green offers a friendly and welcoming setting for bowlers of all ages and abilities.
Whether you are an experienced player or a complete beginner, you will always receive a warm welcome. We enjoy a mix of social bowling, club competitions, and inter-club friendly matches throughout the season.
We also run occasional open days for members and visitors, with plenty of help and encouragement available for anyone new to the game. There is always someone happy to explain the rules and help you get started or improve your skills.
